J&S is a 48 year old company founded by Stanley Fairlie.  Today, two of his six children continue the family tradition, along with one of our long-time employees, Jeff Johnson .  We have been heavily involved with computers and networking since their inception, the Commodores in the early 1980’s and Novell in the mid 1980’s.  We are also a full service copier dealership, selling and servicing the Konica/Minolta and Samsung product lines with an emphasis on digital print technologies as they integrate on today’s networks.  We have been a regional supplier for business telephone systems since 1991, with Panasonic and Allworx giving our customers reliable, easy to use, feature rich solutions.  We are the regional experts when it comes to converged voice, video and data on many of our customers networks.  We have added Bogen Intercom and Clock systems to help meet our educational customers needs. And per our customer’s repeated requests, we added GE and Avigilon CCTV systems, as they were tired of high costs and slow/poor service they were getting from vendors far away.

We service over 3,000 customers in a 100 mile radius of Burlington, IA and our motto “For Service You Can Rely On” has given us loyal customers, many date back to 1963 when we began!

Our service technicians have a cumulative experience of over 211 years, and that is non-stop field experience, not counting years in school or dabbling on a system while doing a different job for a business!  This experience and the constant training are what enable our technicians to fix a problem the first time and in an efficient manner, saving our customer’s time and money!
